With an analytical mind and a passion for working with his hands, Travis Wyatt has always been drawn to creative pursuits. However, he didn’t always envision himself working in a creative field. When he was younger, he had dreams of becoming a military stealth pilot or an engineer. Little did he know, though, his plans would change significantly after enrolling in a drawing course during his second semester of college. After encouragement from his professor, who was also the chairperson of the art department, Travis became a studio art and design major. He spent the rest of his college career honing his graphic design skills, which helped him earn an internship after graduation. In the years that followed, Travis worked at an ad agency before starting a design/advertising firm called Envizion Dezigns in 2007. Not only did having his own company give him the freedom to work with a variety of clients, such as the Dallas Cowboys and Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament, but it also allowed him to sharpen his leadership abilities. After transitioning back into the corporate world in 2016, Travis worked as the creative director at a law firm before joining the RealManage family in 2022. As the company’s creative manager, Travis was responsible for maintaining and protecting brand standards (logos, colors, and fonts) while providing support to the marketing team. He also designed a wide range of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, postcards, brochures, logos, infographics, banner ads, videos, and more. Travis, who is a firm believer in providing the highest level of service, is wellknown for managing deadlines and exceeding expectations. As the leader of RealManage’s creative team, Travis was also driven to be a good teacher. He is the kind of person who enjoys sharing knowledge just as much as he enjoys learning new things. While discussing words of advice for people who are interested in leadership roles, Travis emphasized the importance of setting clear expectations, communicating, and being understanding, respectful, and polite. He noted that leaders should aim to be patient and willing to work with team members. During his time at RealManage, Travis became a fixture within the company, assisting individuals nationwide on a daily basis with all marketing needs, as well as being one of eight on the nationwide Leadership Conference Team. When asked what he enjoyed most about working at RealManage, Travis shared that he loved how much “leadership strives to show appreciation” for team members. As he continues to develop in his role, Travis assisted the VP of Marketing in the marketing department’s growth. When Travis isn’t busy with work, he enjoys spending time with his two teenage children. His son, Marshall, is a member of a Texas and national championship high school marching band. Additionally, Marshall is a natural on the piano, at playing chess, and at solving Rubik’s Cubes. Travis’ daughter, Billie Jayne, is a talented athlete with a dream to be the Texas A&M Women’s Soccer Team goalie. She also plays the bassoon and is a self-taught ukelele, acoustic, and electric guitar player. He noted that being a father is the thing that he’s most proud of. In addition, Travis has several hobbies. He has been an avid fisherman since he was a young boy. He loves basketball, football, scuba diving, cooking, and mixing and making music on his digital turntables.
